The terms of conditions between North Away ApS and you as a customer when you purchase a trip. The agreement is entered into and carried out in accordance with the Package Travel Act.

1) Formation of the agreement

1.1 An agreement for the purchase of a travel itinerary, package trip, or registration for a group trip is entered into between the customer and North Away ApS and is binding for both parties once the deposit has been paid to North Away ApS.

1.2 After the customer has made the first payment (full payment or deposit) as instructed in connection with the registration for the trip, the customer confirms that they are bound by the terms and conditions. Registration is binding for North Away ApS when the customer has completed the payment (deposit or full payment).

1.3 If the customer does not accept the offer within the specified deadline or fails to pay the deposit or full payment on time, North Away ApS is no longer bound by the offer.

1.4 North Away ApS reserves the right to make necessary and reasonable changes to the program regarding transportation and other services as North Away ApS deems necessary and reasonable. North Away ApS shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, costs, or other claims related to these changes, and the registrant is not entitled to any refund beyond the provided refund options.

​​Verification of travel documents

2.1 After the agreement is finalized, North Away ApS will send the relevant travel documents to the customer.

2.2 The customer is obligated to review the travel documents received and to immediately respond to North Away ApS if the information does not match what was agreed upon.

3) Prices and payment

3.1 The price of the trip includes the services mentioned in the agreement, as well as VAT and related taxes.

3.2 At the destinations, there may be local fees, entrance charges, and taxes that cannot be collected at the time of the agreement, as these payments are directly related to local regulations or to the consumption of additional services beyond what is stated in the agreement. For example, booking campsites that cannot be pre-booked.

3.3 At North Away ApS, all prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and are stated inclusive of VAT and taxes.

3.4 North Away ApS reserves the right to change prices on a daily basis without prior consent.

3.5 We reserve the right for items to be sold out.

3.6 If the customer fails to fulfill their part of the agreement regarding payment, North Away ApS reserves the right to cancel the agreement.

3.7 North Away ApS accepts payment via bank transfer.

3.8 North Away ApS does not cover expenses related to the vehicle, including but not limited to parking fines, speeding tickets, or other fees. For expenses incurred from third parties, such as parking fines, parking fees, tolls, speeding tickets, or other charges, an administrative fee will be applied per expense.

4) Deposit and final payment

4.1 The deposit amounts to 30% of the trip’s price, but at least 2000 DKK per person.

4.2 In connection with certain trips, the deposit may be higher.

4.3 The deposit for group trips is paid upon registration, and for other trips, the deposit is also paid at the time of booking. For personalized package trips, the full customized itinerary will be sent after 7 business days once North Away ApS has received the deposit in their account. 

4.3 The deposit is NON-refundable.

4.4 The final payment must be made no later than 61 days before the departure date unless otherwise stated or if the trip is booked closer than the specified days.

4.5 Billetter og øvrige rejsedokumenter vil blive fremsendt, således at kunden har dem senest syv dage før afrejse, medmindre andet er aftalt.

4.6 In connection with Danish as well as local holidays at the destination, it may be necessary for the final payment to be made earlier than usual. This is due to altered payment deadlines with, for example, hotels and other suppliers.

5) Delivery of digital products

5.1 North Away ApS strives to dispatch orders within 7 business days after receiving the order. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on personal preferences and the scope of the trip.

5.2  After payment has been made, the customer will receive their product within 7 business days.

5.3 North Away ApS holds the copyright to the travel documents provided with the trip, including images, travel recommendations, and other tips. According to Danish Copyright Act. has the exclusive right to determine how their work may be copied and distributed. This means that forwarding a copyrighted document without permission may constitute a violation of copyright. The penalty for infringing copyright can include claims for damages and, in certain cases, fines.

5.4 By purchasing a trip, the customer confirms their understanding of copyright and acknowledges that sharing travel documents belonging to North Away ApS will be reported. 

6) Customer changes to the trip

6.1 If the customer wishes to make changes to the package trip, they must contact North Away ApS as soon as possible.

6.2 If it is possible for North Away ApS to make changes to the package trip, the customer must cover any additional expenses incurred due to the changes, as well as a modification fee of 750 DKK per person.

6.3 North Away ApS is not obligated to make changes to the package trip. If the customer wishes to make changes and this is not possible, the change will be considered a cancellation of the package trip and a new booking.

7) Right of withdrawal

7.1 There is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of package tours, pursuant to Section 18, Subsection 2, No. 12 of the Consumer Contracts Act.

7.2 If the cancellation occurs later than 61 days before departure, North Away ApS has the right to charge the total price of the trip as a cancellation fee.

7.3 The general rules for cancellation under the Package Travel Act apply otherwise.

7.4 The following types of goods are not included in the right of withdrawal:

  • Goods that are made according to the consumer's specifications or have been given a clearly personalized touch.
  • Delivery of digital content that is not provided on a physical medium, if the performance has begun with the consumer's prior explicit consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
  • Goods that deteriorate or expire quickly. Digital products that have been used. By "used," it means that if the digital product has been downloaded, it is considered used and cannot be canceled.

8) Refunds

8.1 Refund of the travel payment, or parts thereof, paid to North Away ApS will only occur under the following circumstances:

  If the trip is canceled by North Away ApS, the already paid amount will be refunded to the customer.

  If the registrant, for any reason, wishes to withdraw from the trip, this must be done through written notice to North Away ApS within the following timeframe:

  • North Away ApS will refund the trip if the cancellation occurs 61 days before the departure time.  
  • By purchasing the trip, the customer agrees that North Away will deduct working hours, bank fees, and administrative fees from the refund in all cases.
  • The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • If cancellation occurs later than 61 days before departure, North Away ApS reserves the right to charge the total price of the trip as a cancellation fee.
  • During or after the trip, it will not be possible to receive a refund.

8.2 If a refund is requested, the customer is asked to include bank details (bank code and account number) to facilitate the transfer of the agreed amount.

8.3 This information can be safely provided via email or other electronic means, as it is not sensitive information and will only be used for the purpose of refunds.

9) Cancellation in the event of armed conflict, etc.

9.1 The customer can cancel a package trip "free of charge" if, within a period of 14 days before the start of the package trip at the destination or in its immediate vicinity, there are occurrences of armed conflict, natural disasters, life-threatening and contagious diseases, or other similar events.

9.2 The event must be established or documented in a sufficiently objective manner, for example, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, health authorities, etc. www.um.dk and www.ssi.dk.

9.3 For round trips, the customer only has the right to cancel the portion of the package trip that takes place in the advised against area. However, if this part of the package trip constitutes a significant portion of the trip, the customer has the right to cancel the entire trip.

10) Complaints after the trip ands

10.1 Claims for compensation, proportional reductions in the price of the trip (compensation), or inconvenience compensation due to deficiencies that have been properly reported and have not been remedied by North Away ApS must be submitted to North Away ApS within a reasonable time after the conclusion of the trip. Otherwise, the customer loses the right to make a claim against North Away ApS.

11) Rights

11.1 All rights to workshops, courses, events, and digital products belong to North Away ApS.

11.2 Upon purchase, a license is granted to use the purchased product as specified under the respective product.

11.3 The customer's digital product is personal, and it is not permitted to sell, forward, lend, give away, or otherwise distribute the product, whether privately or commercially. This applies to both the content of our online products, downloaded products, workshops, and courses. Refer to points 5.3 & 5.4 regarding copyright. North Away ApS does not allow sharing, and it will be reported.

​​12) Privacy Policy

12.1 In order for the customer to enter into an agreement with North Away ApS and transact on our website, North Away ApS requires the following information about the customer: name, address, phone number, email address, driver's license, and any other relevant information.

12.2 North Away ApS processes the customer's personal data in accordance with our privacy policy for North Away ApS. Here, the customer can read more about how their information is processed, when it is deleted, and what rights they have as a data subject.

13) Complaints Procedures

13.1 If the customer has complaints regarding our products or services, please contact us so that we can find a solution.

13.2 If an agreement on a compensation claim and/or amount cannot be reached through a complaint to North Away ApS, the customer may submit the complaint to the Package Travel Complaints Board – see the website: www.pakkerejseankenævnet.dk.

14) Insurance and health information

14.1 The customer is required, unless otherwise agreed, to purchase adequate travel insurance before the departure of the trip. The insurance must protect the customer against all risks that may occur during the trip, including appropriate coverage for damage/loss of personal belongings, luggage, medical expenses for physical or mental injuries, death, and expenses related to scenarios where the customer may be unable to complete the remainder of the trip. 

14.2 If the customer has physical, medical, or psychological conditions that may affect their participation in the trip, these reasons may lead to a denial if North Away ApS determines that these conditions are not suitable for the trip.
