This journey will be your chance to challenge yourself on Lofoten's mountain slopes and enjoy the view of the crystal-clear Arctic Sea. Lofoten is renowned for its dramatic peaks, snow-covered summits, and unique light conditions – a paradise for ski enthusiasts of all levels.

During this 6-day adventure  in Lofoten, we will start each day with world-class views and a delicious, nutritious breakfast. After the morning meal, we will be picked up and driven to today's mountain top, where we will embark on fantastic summit tours in the magnificent winter landscape. With the help of our professional guides, we will slowly climb the mountains, only to experience the rush of adrenaline as we hurtle down the snowy mountain sides. The day ends with a relaxing Arctic sauna and a refreshing dip in the sea – and if we're lucky, under the dancing northern lights.

We live at Lofoten Apartments, which consist of 3 large apartments. Here, the hosts Fredrikke and Erik will spoil us with three daily meals that reflect true Nordic coziness and quality. We will spend the night in comfortable double rooms with single beds. Each room is shared with another participant, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere throughout the journey.

It is possible to purchase an additional ski package: NOK 4010 (approx. DKK 2500) for 4 days with all equipment (boots, skis, poles, avalanche package incl. probe, shovel, avalanche diggers).

Please note that the price is stated in DKK, and the registration deadline is 08.01.2025. The deposit is paid upon registration and amounts to DKK 5,500, which secures your place on the tour. The remaining amount is paid at the latest by the registration deadline of 08.01.2025. The trip takes place with a minimum of 10 registered participants, which is why we recommend that you do not book flights before confirming the trip.

Type of adventure

This trip is a randonee trip that combines off-piste skiing with climbing Lofoten's breathtaking mountains. Randonee, also known as "backcountry skiing", involves climbing the mountain on skis before enjoying the descent on the untouched slopes.

Physical form

In order to get the most out of our randonee trip in Lofoten, it is important that you have good experience with skiing. Although it is not a requirement that you have tried randonee before, you must be comfortable with normal alpine skis and be able to navigate safely down the slopes. The trip will be physically challenging, as we have to climb the mountains on skis.

Transport to Lofoten

We recommend that you fly round trip to Svolvær Airport, as there will be a shared transport to Lofoten Apartments from the airport.

Arrival & departure

Check-in at Lofoten Apartments is from 15.00, and the welcome dinner takes place at 18.00. We arrange a combined pick-up from Svolvær Airport based on the flight departures (information to follow). Check-out takes place around 10.00, after which there will be transport to Svolvær Airport.

Day 1: Arrival at Lofoten Apartments
On our first day, we will be warmly received by our hosts, Fredrikke and Erik, who will be ready with delicious afternoon snacks and an inviting welcome dinner. The evening will be spent getting to know each other and settling into the cozy surroundings. Check-in at Lofoten Apartments is from 15.00 and the welcome dinner will be at 18.00. A combined pick-up time from Svolvær Airport will be arranged based on the flight departures on the day (coming later).
Day 2: World-class views
We start the day with a good breakfast, after which we get ready and set off on a beautiful ski trip in the magical winter landscapes. In the late afternoon, we return to Lofoten Apartments, where we light up the sauna for free use. There will also be time to read a good book, drink tea, coffee or hot cocoa and just enjoy each other's company. The evening is rounded off with a delicious dinner and a briefing on the next day's summit tour.
Day 3: Randonee above the Arctic Circle
We start the day with a good breakfast, after which we get ready and set off on a beautiful ski trip in the magical winter landscapes. In the late afternoon, we return to Lofoten Apartments, where we light up the sauna for free use. There will also be time to read a good book, drink tea, coffee or hot cocoa and just enjoy each other's company. The evening is rounded off with a delicious dinner and a briefing on the next day's summit tour.
Dag 4: Eat, sleep, ski, repeat

Day 6: Farewell to Lofoten

After many self-arranged trips, this year we decided to take advantage of some convenient local expertise.
